My Rating (out of 5): ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

It suffices to say that this book was one that I thoroughly enjoyed. I will remember very fondly the depth of the quotes; the width of the story; the height of the wit; and most importantly the elegance of a writing style that the universe gifts only to its finest.

You must understand that this is a translated work. But it’s a translated work that has remained true despite dilutions of language– in a way that speaks to the talent of the author and the ability of the translator. I’ll pay to see a proper review of the Spanish original where this book’s beauty has been discussed in its unsullied glory.

This book takes all of my 5 stars and more.

Goodness! What a translation! What a book!
