The story is centered around Aliya, daughter of two upper-middle-class Nigerian parents, who turns 16 soon. For her birthday, her father writes her a letter that introduces her to adulthood and its many convolutions.
I think it was a beautiful story that everyone can and should read. Only about fifty pages long but this book embeds so much wisdom within its paragraphs.
