My Rating (out of 5): ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Dr Tai Solarin, the co-founder of one of the most prestigious schools in South-Western Nigeria, Mayflower School, gives a first-hand account of the events and struggles that took place before and a few years after the birth of Mayflower School in January 1956.

Here, Solarin discusses issues that prompted him and his wife, Sheila, to build a school of their own. A school, the first of its kind, in West Africa. An institution built with the singular philosophy of mental and religious freedom and how this guiding philosophy saw the education of young Nigerian students who later became success stories in their respective fields.

An amazing read.
